From Konstanz to the Chemical Triangle: aevoloop’s Next Chapter in Leipzig
We’re thrilled to announce that aevoloop has officially relocated its headquarters from Konstanz to Leipzig — right in the heart of Germany’s “Chemical Triangle”, where we have access to excellent infrastructure, industry partners and a first-class research environment.
On May 26, we celebrated this milestone with Prof. Peter Seeberger, Founding Director of the Center for the Transformation of Chemistry (CTC). We were also honoured to welcome Sebastian Gemkow, Saxony's Minister of Science (Sächsisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft, Kultur und Tourismus), as Guest of Honour. He joined us to personally greet aevoloop and reaffirm his support for our mission.

The event was covered live by MDR and broadcast on regional TV — catch the full feature now in the MDR Mediathek!
Our close collaboration with the CTC was at the center of the festivities. Backed by €1.2 billion in federal funding, the CTC is Germany’s largest and most ambitious sustainable-chemistry research initiative — and is on track to create around 1,000 jobs by 2038. Together, we’re driving the transformation of the German chemical industry from a linear, fossil-based model to a truly circular, renewable future.

Many thanks to all guests for the warm welcome and the great exchange. We can’t wait to harness the resources and collaborations that Leipzig offers — and to continue driving the circular-plastics revolution together!
